Malkangiri, June 3: Even though 48 hours have elapsed, the Malkangiri police are yet to find any clue behind the missing of Dr Amlan Kumar Bhoi, the medical officer of the Kalimela Community Health Centre (CHC), much to the dismay of the locals and intellectuals. 

Sources said the police started an investigation based on a complaint of missing filed by the health department on the incident day on Saturday. 

While an old mobile and a Maoist poster were recovered from the doctor's residence during the primary investigation, locals suspected that the medical officer was kidnapped by Naxals. But the police are still clueless about his whereabouts. 

Meanwhile, the doctor's family has urged the district Collector and the SP to bring him back home.
