The ghastly incident occurred in Bankel Goverment Primary School near Titilagarh police station.
According to the information, the drunkard, Suren Kumbar, entered the school and beat as many as 15 students with a stick, and then fled from the spot. Teachers brought six of them to the Titilagarh hospital because of their critical condition.

✨Following the incident, the parents of the injured children went to the Titilagarh police station and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprit.
Tension ran high in the police station as locals gathered and shouted slogans.
