Balasore, Apr 20: In a gruesome act, a 70-year-old man attempted sexual assault on a 10-year-old minor in Nampho area under Jaleswar police station limits in Balasore district. The man has been detained by the police on Saturday.
The accused Atul Parida of Sampatia village molested the minor and threatened to kill her if she opened her mouth and disclosed anything about the incident.
The incident came to light when the minor girl informed her family members of the indecent behaviour.
