Ahead Of 2024 General Elections, Odisha Registers 3.32 Cr Voters; Female Ratio Rises

Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: Odisha registered a total of 3,32,36,360 voters by January 5, 2024, informed Chief Election Officer (CEO) Nikunja Bihari Dhal today.
The voters include 1,68,50,949 male voters and 1,63, 82,031 female voters. The number of voters aged above 80 stood at 6,85,048.
The CEO said 12,97,954 new voters were added to the list this time, while rectifications were made in the case of 4,22,638 voters. As many as 7, 16, 807 voters have been deleted from the list.

✨The number of female voters has risen in 2024 compared to 2019. While there were 946 voters against every 1000 male voters in 2019, their number has risen to 972 this time, said the CEO.
The CEO also informed that there are 4,57,821 Dibyanga (Persons with Disabilities) and 3,380 transgender voters in the State now.
