Puri, Mar 13: The Banakalagi Niti ritual of shrimandir deities will be conducted today, for which darshan will remain closed for 3 hours from 6 PM to 9 PM, informed SJTA authorities.
The ritual will be performed after the second bhoga mandap of Mahaprabhu. During this period, no visitors will be allowed for the darshan of Lord Jagannath.
As per traditions, Datta Mohapatra Servitors Will adorn Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra, and Lord Jagannath with sacred and traditional colours like green, red, saffron, black, and white in the Banakalagi Niti.

✨After the ritual's completion, the Holy Trinity will be given a ceremonial bath also known as 'Maha Snana', after which the door of the shrimandir will open for devotees.
