Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: BJD MLA and former Minister Prafulla Samal appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) is now grilling BJD MLA Prafulla Samal.
Earlier, the ED had summoned Samal and his son Prayaskant to remain present before it with all supportive documents in connection with Barapada Engineering college land irregularities.
It may be noted that the ED recently carried out raids on the houses linked to Samal and Prayaskant in Bhadrak and Bhubaneswar and seized assets worth lakhs of rupees, including cash of Rs 9 lakh.

✨The ED carried out search operations at 10 locations in Bhadrak and Bhubaneswar belonging to Prayaskanti Samal (ex-President), Manoj Kumar Goswami (Secretary), and others of Barapada School of Engineering and Technology (BSET) society in the matter of misappropriation of society money.
It recovered incriminating documents, digital devices, cash of Rs 9 lakh, undated cheques, land agreements, and a costly car worth about Rs 40 lakh during searches.
