Bhubaneswar, Jan 3: Senior BJP leader Prithviraj Harichandan on Wednesday alleged that the present BJD government has topped all past governments in looting the State exchequer, which is shaped with common people's money. 

"The BJD government is playing political drama with government money. Misuse of the public money from the State exchequer has touched the highest level during the Naveen Patnaik government," alleged Harichanan. 

Harichandan said the State government is promoting the ruling party by spending money in the name of Naveen card under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY). The corruption has touched such a point that the coming days' political history would not pardon this government, he said. 

He too targeted the Naveen Patnaik government over 'failure' in bringing to the fore the real culprits in the Vishva Hindu Parishad leader Laxmanananda Saraswati murder case.  "The government has failed to bring to the fore who killed Laxmananada Saraswati and why," Harichandan said, ridiculing the government's move to develop temples and other religious institutions.
