Activists of the various wings of the BJP sat on a dharna at Kalpana Square with baskets full of fake notes in a unique way of protest. They shouted slogans against the Odisha government.
They alleged that the BJD government has created a Mahanadi of liquor by committing a scam of Rs 50,000 crore in the State.
They wanted to know to whom the seized crores of rupees belonged. Why the BJD government had been favoring Jharkhand MP and liquor trader Dheeraj Sahu for so many years?

The BJP demanded that the State government make it clear if the seized amount belonged to liquor traders or the BJD party fund. They demanded a CBI probe into the incident.
