Cuttack, Nov 7: A 20-member team of the BJP led by State secretary Golak Mohapatra on Sunday called on DGP Sunil Bansal here and demanded his intervention in the Bargarh district's Ambabhona police station vandalism incident.
The team demanded that BJD MLA Sushant Singh be brought under the purview of the investigation while alleging his supporters went on a rampage in the police station in his very presence.
"The MLA (Sushant Singh) instigated the attack on the Ambabhona police station. He was present at the time his supporters ransacked the police station. Proper action should be taken against him," demanded Mohapatra.

✨Stating that the people of Odisha have already lost their trust in the State government, the BJP leader said people will not also rely police if action is not taken against Singh.
He demanded a proper probe into the attack on the Ambabhona PS and MLA Singh be arrested at the earliest.
All district leaders of Cuttack were in the team.
