Rourkela, May 17: Union Home Minister and BJP heavyweight Amit Shah on Friday exuded confidence that the BJP would form a government at the Centre for the third time in a row and a government in Odisha for the first time.
"Out of 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, the BJP will win 15 seats and, out of 147 Assembly seats, the party will win 75 seats," asserted Shah while slamming the Naveen Patnaik government over various failures and inefficiencies.
Shah alleged that the BJD government is damaging Odisha's pride every day.
Expressing concern over the Ratnabhandar issue, Shah wanted to know why duplicate keys were made and where were the original keys. Naveen Babu should reply to these questions to the people of the State, he said.
The BJP heavyweight, who visited for the third time to the State to campaign for party candidates, said the BJD government has undertaken the Shreemandir Parikrama Project to use the Shreemandir as a tourist spot.
The Union Minister wanted to know why the four gates of the Shreemandir are not being opened for devotees.
Shah also wanted to know why the Ratnabhandar Inquiry Commission report has not been made public yet.
Shah boasted saying that the BJP made a tribal daughter of Odisha the President of India. The Congress has not considered any tribal person for the top constitutional post yet, he said.

Speaking on the Modi guarantee, Shah said paddy will be procured from farmers at minimum support price (MSP) of Rs 3,100 after a double-engine government is formed in Odisha.
On bags provided to ration card holders by the BJD government, Shah wanted to know if people would live eating bags.
"The Narendra Modi government has been providing five kg of rice per head to people across the country, including Odisha. Instead of giving empty bags, the Odisha government should have given two kg more rice per head," pointed out Shah.
Shah severely criticized the Naveen government for not implementing the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and, thereby, depriving the people of Odisha of free health services. He said the Aayusman scheme will be implemented in three months after the BJP government is formed in Odisha.
"People of Odisha have decided to change the BJD government and vote for the BJP to form government in Odisha this time. Odisha needs double-engine government for expeditious development," said Shah.
