According to the sources, Bikram was returning to his rented house in Dhamanadanga complex after buying vegetables, when three miscreants stopped his way demanding money.

Balangir, Dec 20: A  hawker was looted near Khatushyam temple under Kantabanji police station of Balangir district last night. 

The man was identifed as Bikram Banjara, a blanket seller in Kantabanji. 

According to the sources, Bikram was returning to his rented house in Dhamanadanga complex after buying vegetables, when three miscreants stopped his way demanding money.

The miscreants attacked his left shoulder with a knife after which he bled. They stole Rs 5,000 and his mobile. 

The locals rushed in and caught one of the three miscreats while they were fleeing away on their vehicle.  The stolen amount was recovered from the captured man.
