Bhubaneswar, Jan 9: Students hurled tomatoes at the official residence of Health Minister Niranjan Pujari to register their protest against police inaction in the Hi-Tech Medical oxygen cylinder blast case that has claimed three lives now.

According to information, hundreds of students under the aegis of All Odisha Student Voice moved in a bike rally and gheraoed the Minister's house. As the Minister didn't turn up for a discussion, the students hurled tomatoes at his house. 

The activists shouted slogans against the authorities of the Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital. They demanded that the licence of the Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital be canceled and its owner Tirupati Panigrahy arrested soon. 

Tension ran high further as a truce ensued between the police and protestors while the former tried to stop the latter from going berserk.
