Boudh, Feb 26: After Odisha government announced the formation of 34 new Notified Area Councils (NACs) in 20 districts, protests have erupted in other places that have been excluded.
A 12-hour bandh is being called out by Action Committee at Manamunda under Boudh district over exclusion of town from new NACs list.
Vehicular movement has been disrupted due to the bandh.
Kantamal in Boudh district was declared as NAC and Boudhgarh as municipality. But there is resentment as Manamunda has been left out of it.
