Boudh, Nov 1: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday arrested a DVF (District Voluntary Force) Constable of Boudh district in Odisha and seized ill-gotten cash of Rs 6 lakh from his possession, officials said.
The accused Constable has been identified as Harish Chandra Sahu.
Based on specific inputs, Vigilance officials intercepted Sahu near Baghiapada outpost under Boudh Town Police Station and ill-gotten cash of Rs 6 lakh, suspected to be collected from ganja dealers, was found in his possession and seized, said a senior Vigilance official.

✨Following the interception, the Vigilance officials carried out simultaneous searches at three locations linked to Sahu from a disproportionate assets (DA) angle.
The accused Constable is being examined to ascertain the source of funds. In this connection, a case has been registered against Sahu at Berhampur Vigilance police station and further investigation is underway, officials added.
