Nayagarh, Feb 19: In a tragic incident, as many as 13 cows died on the spot and 17 were injured as an illegal cow-laden truck turned over in Jogibandha Chhack under Dasapalla police station.

According to the information, the truck lost its balance and turned over.

However, the driver of the truck fled away from the spot.

On being informed, Fire brigadiers reached the spot and rescued the injured cows and rushed them to Hopital.

Dasapalla police reached the spot and started the investigation into the matter.
