Balangir, Apr 20: In a shocking incident, the dead body of a standard 10 student was recovered from a drain in Belapada village under Titlagarh police station limits in Balangir district on Saturday. He was abducted and murdered by none other than his own paternal uncle.
According to the information, the son of Kamana Nidhi Bagh went missing on April 14 when he had gone to play. The family members tried their best to find their son. On failing to trace him they took the help of police.
After preliminary investigation, police detained his uncle Rohan Bagh on suspicion and after the enquiry Rohan conceded to the crime. He also said that he had demanded a ransom of Rs 3 lakh by writing a letter to the deceased's parents.
