Bhadrak, Feb 23: A Class-X student ended his life hours before the commencement of the English examination as part of the ongoing Matric exam. 

The incident took place in Jahangir Sasan Village under Dhamnagar police station here in Bhadrak district.

The deceased student has been identified as Abhishek Panda, son of Abhay Panda of Mayurbhanj district.

According to the reports, Abhishek was staying in his aunt's house for his studies, where he ended his life.

On being informed by Abhishek's aunt's family members, Dhamnagar police reached the spot and started an investigation on the matter.

Under which circumstances Abhishek took this extreme step is yet to be known.
