Bhubaneswar, June 22: The appointments of the government corporation chairpersons have been revoked Saturday. They were appointed by the previous government, led by BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took the call following a review. The revoking of the appointments was a result of the chairpersons' failure to showcase quality progress in the management of the said corporations.
"Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has relieved them of their duties as no quality progress is being observed in the management of the Corporations due to these chairpersons," states an official order from CMO.

✨Earlier, Chitrasen Rout has been appointed as the Additional Secretary to CM Majhi. “Chitrasen Rout OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, Works Department is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha," an official order stated.
