Berhampur, Apr 30: The Chief Minister Of Odisha and BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday filed his nomination papers from Hinjili assembly constituency.
Patnaik filed his paper before sub-collector, Chatrapur in Ganjam district.
Several BJD Leaders were present during his filing of papers.CM Patnaik along with V.K. Pandian arrived at the temporary helipad at Narasinghpur Chhak near the famous Maa Tara Tarini temple Tuesday morning. He later offered 'puja' at the shrine before filing the nominations.
Since 2000, CM Naveen has been winning from Hinjili consistently.
Principal opposition Bharatiya Janata party has fielded Sisir Mishra from the Hinjili Vidhan Sabha seat. And, Rajanikant Padhi has been nominated by Congress for the Assembly seat.

✨Besides Hinjili, the BJD president will also contest from Kantabanji in Balangir district in western Odisha.
Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be held simultaneously in Odisha in four phases from May 13 to June 1. Hinjili, which falls under Aska parliamentary seat, will go to polls on May 20.
The results will be out on June 4.
