Bhubaneswar, June 21: Internal squabbling in the Odisha Congress came to the fore again with some dissidents making an ink attack on PCC president Sarat Pattanayak at his office today. 

According to the information, activists forcibly entered the PCC chief's office in the Congress Bhawan and threw ink at Pattanayak while shouting at him. 

"You failed to manage elections to the benefit of our party (Congress)," some activists were heard shouting. 

Congress Bhawan sources said Pattanayak complained to the Kharvel Nagar police station against the unruly party activists. 

Speaking to the media persons, Pattnayak said any form of violence is not acceptable to him as he is a disciplined member of the Congress. He said he can't be intimidated by anybody. "I have been doing politics since my student life. I have seen ups and downs in my political life. This happens in politics. There is no reason to fear," he said.  

Pattanayak further said miscreants can't succeed in their attempt to denigrate the Congress.

"The miscreants have done this (ink attack) to intimidate the Congress. They can't succeed. I don't know any of the attackers. The police will identify them," he said. 

He said he would continue to fight and make the Congress stronger. "I will fight for Odisha. No body can stop me. The Congress will be stronger," he asserted.
