Bhubaneswar, Jan 9: Dense fog is likely to engulf several parts of Odisha in the next two days, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre issued a yellow warning of dense fog for Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the IMD's latest bulletin, "Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Balangir till 8.30 am of January 10." The Met Centre issued yellow alerts for all these districts during the period.
The weathermen also predicted that shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of interior parts of the State.

✨Similarly, a yellow warning for dense fog has been issued for one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput from 8.30 am of January 10 to 8.30 am of January 11.

There will be no large change in minimum temperature (Night temperature) in the State during the next 3 days and fall by 2 to 3 degree Celsius thereafter, the bulletin said.
