Rayagada, Dec 24: An elderly man reportedly died at the Rayagada railway station on his return from pilgrimage this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rajendra Parida, 66, a resident of Pujariput in Koraput district.
According to the information, he and other villagers had gone on a pilgrimage by the Bharat Gourav Train on December 14. The train came back and reached the station at 4.45 am today. He collapsed and fell on the platform soon after getting off the train.

✨He was soon rushed to the Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital by an ambulance. However, doctors declared him dead there.
The exact reason behind his death is yet to be known.
