Bhubaneswar, May 26: Union Minister and BJP candidate from Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat, Dharmendra Pradhan will hold a series of election rallies in Mayurbhanj on Sunday for the last phase of elections to Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha.

According to sources, the Union Minister is scheduled to address election rallies at all the seven assembly segments under Mayurbhanj Lok Sabha seats- Jashipur, Rairangpur, Bangriposi, Saraskana, Udala, Morada and Baripada.

Pradhan will attend the "Vijay Sankalp Samavesh '' and seek votes for the BJP candidates. In the evening, the Union Minister will hold a roadshow in Baripada, sources said.

Earlier, Pradhan expressed confidence that BJP will win all 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha and secure an absolute majority in the Assembly polls to form a "double engine" government in the state.

"We will win all 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha. We are not only winning big in Lok Sabha but also going to form a BJP govt in Odisha,” Pradhan said yesterday, after casting his vote in Bhubaneswar.

On Monday, the BJP leader will visit Balasore and address a massive public rally.

Notably, the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are being held simultaneously in the state in four phases from May 13 to June 1.

The last phase of simultaneous elections in six Lok Sabha seats in Odisha- Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur- and 42 assembly segments coming under these Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on June 1.
