Carrying forward the slogan “Education for All, Growth for All”, Khordha District Collector Amrit Ruturaj personally visited parents to encourage them to enroll their children in government schools.

The new academic year begins on April 1, and under the guidance of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will be implemented in Odisha. As part of this, Shishu Bal Batika 3 will be introduced, along with the traditional Khadi Chhuan (school entry) festival.

In Dhala Pathar Panchayat of Bolgad Block, the Collector, District Education Officer, local MLA, and senior officials reached out to parents directly, requesting them to admit their children in government schools. Collector Amrit Ruturaj stated that from April 2 to 5, a collective enrollment drive will be organized. During this period, maximum awareness will be created among parents to send their children to government schools. He emphasized that such initiatives will help reduce dropouts and build confidence among parents about the quality of education provided in government institutions.

Local residents praised the administration’s efforts, welcoming the direct involvement of senior officials in promoting government schools. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening public education and ensuring every child has access to quality learning opportunities.
