Berhampur, Apr 4: In another jolt to the Ganjam BJD, senior leader and former Deputy Assembly Speaker Ramchandra Panda resigned from the prime membership of the party today.
T Gopi, a senior party leader of Berhampur, too quit the party. Both leaders have cited negligence as the reason for quitting the BJD.
Panda said he didn't get any respect in the party even though he discharged all responsibilities well. He, however, said he has not taken any decision to join another party yet.
