Kalahandi, Jan 23: A major fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Shaheed Rendo Majhi Medical College in Kalahandi district late on Monday night.
The fire mishap took place at around midnight in the Obstetrics and gynaecology ward.
According to the reports, it is suspected that an electrical short circuit might have caused the fire. However, all the patients were safely evacuated and no casualty reported.
