Argus News - Fire Breaks Out In Mayurbhanj Jungles; Reasons Unknown

Mayurbhanj, Feb 21: A massive fire broke out in the Nuasahi Reserve Forest under Udala forest range this afternoon here. 

Many old trees and bushes of the jungle have been engulfed in the fire. 

The fire has spread in all directions in the forest. 

The forest officials are trying to tame the fire and extinguish it.

The pace of wind is aggravating the fire, said the fire brigade. 

However, the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. It is suspected that some miscreants might have lit a fire for charcoal purposes which later on spread in the jungle.
