Sambalpur, Mar 11: Odisha Vigilance officials on Monday apprehended the Forest Rights Act (FRA) coordinator at the Sub-collector office in Kuchindafor allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 from a complainant.

According to the information, she assured the complainant that she would take Rs 8K to resolve the jungle land patta issue of that man. 

The accused coordinator has been identified as Nikhhat Parbin.

Parbin was working through an NGO in the Sub-collector office.

The probe is on at her office and at her rented house simultaneously.
