Gajapati, Apr 22: A biker was killed after the branch of a huge tree fell on him due to the influence of Nor'wester at Chheligarh and Ramgiri chowk under R. Udayagiri police station limits in Gajapati district.
The deceased has been identified as Purnachandra Paika of Padampur Village.
The incident took place when Purnachandra and three others were on their way to Chheligarh from their village Padmapur for some work, during that time due to influence of Nor'wester a branch of tree fell on purnachandra and he died on the spot.
