Ganjam, Apr 22: In a tragic incident, a man was electrocuted to death and his son sustained critical injuries after coming in contact with a live electric wire at Adapada village under Hinjili police station limits in Ganjam district.
The deceased man has been identified as Kora Behera and son Tofan Behera.
According to the information, the man and his son went to village for work. while working near a running water pump, an electric live wire fell on Kora Behera and he died on the spot.
The son also receive critical burn injuries as he tried to rescue his father.

✨The villagers rushed them to the nearby Adapada Hospital where doctors declared Kora Behera dead. The son was lying unconscious and was shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation.
