During his Sundargarh visit yesterday, the Governor visited Jabardastapada on Sunday night and talked to villagers about their problems. They told the governor that they were facing water scarcity. The Governor moved around and saw the dried pond in the village.
According to the information, the Governor assured the villagers that he would take up the problem with the government.
Taking to his X, formerly known as Twitter, the Governor wrote, "The Jal Jeevan Mission of the Union Government has made the lives of our mothers and sisters easy. They are getting water at their doorsteps easily. But the water problem in Jabardastapada made me feel sad."

✨He too wrote that he has directed the district administration to prepare a report and address the water scarcity issue in the village at the earliest.
