Hoardings, Posters To Be Taken Down From All Official Buildings In Bhubaneswar As MCC In Force

Bhubaneswar, Mar 17: The bugles for the elections sounded with the Election Commission of India (ECI) announcing the dates and the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) getting enforced on Saturday.
With the enforcement of the MCC, District Magistrate (DM) Chanchal Rana has directed that all the hoardings, leaflets, posters of the government schemes be taken down from all the office buildings here.
This direction has been carried out on a war-footing.

✨On Saturday, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar in a press conference announced the dates for the polling of the Lok Sabha and Assembly seats in four states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
The elections in Odisha are to take place for 21 Lok Sabha seats and 147 Assembly seats in four phases on May 13, 20, 25 and June 1.
The counting of votes all over the country are to take place on June 4.
