Cuttack, Mar 14: Though late, the Badambadi police have arrested the main accused in the lyricist Pramod Parida kidnapping case. The arrested main accused has been identified as Dinesh Behera alias Papu, the manager of singer Human Sagar.  

The police have also court-forwarded Papu on the charges of forcibly entering another's house, attacking and kidnapping and illegally possessing a gun. 

According to the complaint, Papu along with his five associates entered lyricist Pramod's house at Palamandapo and abducted him at gunpoint on February 20. A video of these acts went viral on social media later. 

Accused Papu has six criminal cases pending against him at different police stations,said Additional DCP of Cuttack.
