Bhubaneswar, June 17: Senior OAS officer and Sub-Collector of Keonjhar, Trilochan Mohanty has been appointed as Joint Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, officials said on Monday.
"Trilochan Mohanty, OAS (S), Sub-Collector, Keonjhar, is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha," reads a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance department.
BJP Tribal leader Mohan Charan Majhi took oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Odisha on June 12, ending the BJD's 24-year old stint in the State.

✨The new Odisha Chief Minister was elected to the State Legislative Assembly from Keonjhar constituency in the 2024 Odisha Legislative Assembly elections on a BJP ticket. He also represented the same constituency from 2000 to 2009 and from 2019 to 2024.
