According to sources, an unknown vehicle hit Raj and fled the scene around 9pm yesterday.

Koraput, Dec 20: In a saddening accident, a 12-year-old boy died in the Damanjodi main road under Damanjodi and Similiguda police station in Koraput district last night.  

The deceased, Raj Nayak, son of Dingar Nayak was a resident of Kalahandi slum. 

According to sources, an unknown vehicle hit Raj and fled the scene around 9pm yesterday.

He was rushed to Mathalaputa Community Health Centre. Due to his critical condition, doctors referred him to SLN Medical College and Hospital in Koraput.
