Man Brutally Attacks In-Laws With Iron Rod In Rayagada
Rayagada, Mar 9: In a shocking incident, a woman and her mother have been brutally attacked by her brother-in-law in Chekaguda village under Rayagada police station limits last night.
The woman and her mother are identified as Basanti Jhadia and Parbati Jhadia. The attacker has been identified as Balsa Dileswar.
According to the information, Dileswar under the influence of alcohol abused his sister-in-law and mother-in-law. He then hit them with an iron rod.
"He drinks and beats me every night so I wanted to divorce him. My family was also supporting me in this. My younger sister Basanti had just come from her work and my mother was at home when Dileswar came and attacked both of them," said Bharati, Dileswar's wife.

Dileswar and his wife were having some disputes from the past few days. On Friday morning, his in-laws had lodged a complaint against him. Infuriated by this Dileswar consumed alcohol and attacked his in-laws at night, said sources.
