Keonjhar, Nov 5: A man sustained critical injuries after falling from a tree in Chaulajhara village under Anandapur police station limits here on Sunday. 

The victim has been identified as Niranjan Ojha. 

According to the infromation, Niranjan climbed a tree to cut down its branches. As Niranjan  did not carry any saftey equipments, he fell from the tree when a branch got broken. As a result, Niranjan received critical injuries. 

Soon, he was rushed to the Anandapur Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment, where the doctors have informed that due to the fall, Niranjan's hand and legs are completely broken. 

Later, Niranjan was shifted to Cuttack's Srirama Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital (SCB)  for further treatment.
