Bolangir, Nov 6: In a tragic incident, a man died and his wife sustained critical injuries after the car of an Inspector In-Charge allegedly hit their motorcycle while they were riding on it at National Highway (NH) 26 near Chata makhan square in the Durgapal area here on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Paleshwar Ghibela and his wife as Pinki Ghibela. The IIC has been identified as Manoj Pradhan, IIC of Titlagarh police station.

According to the information, the couple was en route to Balangir from Bargarh on their motorcycle when Manoj lost the control of his car's steering when and hit them. After hitting the motorcycle, the vehicle collided with a tree which was present at the side of the road.

✨The impact was so high that Paleswar died on the spot, alleged locals and his wife sustained critical injuries.
The onlookers rushed Pinki to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital for treatment. As her condition deteriorated, she was shifted to eer Surendra Sai Institute Of Medical Sciences And Hospital (VSSUT) for further treatment.
