Jharsuguda, Feb 19: A large number of BJD workers from the Kirmira and Laikera blocks in Jharsuguda district joined the Bharatiya Janata Party here today. 

The joining programme was held at BTM BJP Office in the district. 

After joining the saffron party, the new entrants said they came to the BJP fold after getting inspired by the Prime Minister's leadership and pro-people governance of the Union Government. They trust the Modi guarantees, they said. 

BJP State Secretary Tankadhar Tripathy and other senior leaders were present at the joining ceremony.
