Balasore, Apr 22: Miscreants allegedly looted valuables worth lakhs of rupees from Gobarghoti Government Nodal Higher Primary School under Basta police station limits in Balasore district last night.

The teachers found the school to have been burgled on Monday morning, when they found the doors of the office room and adjacent rooms partially opened and locks lying on the ground. 

On being informed, police reached the spot and are investigating the matter.

The value of the stolen goods is alleged to be Rrs 4 lakh and Rs 50,000, the value of the stolen LED TV is estimated to be Rs 4 lakh and the value of other items is estimated to be more than Rs 50,000.
