Bhubaneswar, Feb 2: BJP State president Manmohan Samal on Friday expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for prioritising the railway sector in Odisha and allocating funds in the Union Budget accordingly.
"Like earlier years, the Narendra Modi Government prioritized the railway sector in Odisha in this interim Budget.
Development work in the State's railway sector is going on in full swing with the allocation of adequate funds. Thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw," stated Samal.

✨He said the Union Government has allocated a whopping Rs 10,536 crore for development in Odisha's railway sector.
"While an annual average of Rs 838 crore was being available to Odisha during the Congress-led UPA government, it is well-recorded that Odisha is getting over Rs 10,000 crore annually for the last three years for the sector," said Samal.
He said construction of railway lines is going on in full swing in Odisha. Projects to make world-class railway stations are also underway in different places.
