Bhadrak, May 28: BJP heavyweight and Union Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday asserted that Naveen Patnaik will be pushed back as former Chief Minister of Odisha as the BJP will be managed to form the new government on the very day.
Shah claimed this while addressing a huge Vijay Sankalpa Yatra at Chandbali in Bhadrak district today. He hit out at CM Naveen Patnaik for 'hiring' a Tamil Babu to make him his successor in Odisha.
He said a youth Odisha-borne leader, who knows reading and writing Odia, will be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of the BJP.
Stating that Odia language, literature, heritage and glory, culture and tradition and art have not been taken care of during the 25 years of the BJD rule, Shah asked people if they would accept a Tamil Babu ruling them from the background.
"Odisha is rich with plenty of minerals lying underneath its soil and vast stretches of water resources. But It is disappointing that the people of Odisha are very poor. Lakhs of youths are going outside the State for work leaving behind children and elderly parents," rued Shah.
Shah slammed the Odisha government for not opening the four gates of the Shreemandir for devotees and not managing Jagannath Temple as per tradition.
Blaming the Naveen Patnaik government for the missing of Ratna Bhandar keys, the Union Home Minister said the BJP Government, if formed, will make public the Inquiry Commission report in a month's time.
He criticized the government for distributing BJD-labeled empty bags to people a few months back.

✨"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been providing 5 kg rice to each person free of cost. You should have given 5 kg more instead of empty bags," contended Shah.
Stating that only 3.5% of households were provided with tapped water in Odisha, Shah said the BJP government will ensure the supply of tapped water to all households within a year.
The BJP heavyweight promised to declare Bhadrak Autonomous College as a university and take appropriate steps to check floods being created by the Salandi River.
He said chit-fund offenders would be booked and punished within 18 months of the BJP government taking charge.
"Paddy will be procured at Rs 3,100 per quintal for farmers. Vouchers of Rs 50,000 will be given to women under the Subhadra Yojana. As many as 25 lakh women will be made lakhpati Didi in Odisha. Fishermen will be given annual support of Rs 10,000. 1.5 lakh youths will be given government jobs. Pensions will be raised to Rs 3,000 for elderly people, PwDs and widows," he told the gathering.
Claiming that the Modi government has provided Rs 7 lakh crore to Odisha by the Modi government, the Union Minister alleged that the BJD government misappropriated the funds and no development was done in the State.
