Puri, June 13: Odisha's new Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited Shreemandir and paid obeisance to Lord Jagannath today. Majhi had taken oath as new and first BJP CM of Odisha yesterday.
The Chief Minister also moved around the Shreemandir on the Parikrama Marg after having the Darshan of the deities. He too took stock of the situation around the shrine.
Commenting on the opening of the Chari Dwar (Four Gates), the Chief Minister said, "The long wait of the devotees has been fulfilled."

✨The four gates were opened after the Mangal Aalati ritual. In its first Cabinet meeting, the new government approved its first proposal of opening all the gates for the devotees.
Besides the CM, Ministers also visited the Shreemandir and offered prayers to Lord Jagannath.
