Bhubaneswar, Mar 9: A day after BJP state president Manmohan Samal reiterated his party would fight the ensuing general elections in Odisha alone, the saffron party's Odisha election pravari Vijaypal Singh Tomar said no talks have been made on the formation of any alliance in Odisha and his national outfit will go alone in coming polls.
"There has been no talks held on any alliance. We have been discussing how to successfully contest elections in both Lok Sabha and Assembly segments," Tomar said while responding to media queries on a possible alliance between the BJP and the BJD.
He said his party is preparing to contest all 147 Assembly and 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha. The BJP is very confident to form government in Odisha this time, he said.

✨"The situation is very favourable for us. We will win more than 80 Assembly seats and 16 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha in the coming elections. We will form government in the State," he vociferously said.
In response to a querry on two BJD leaders' visit to Delhi for talks on an alliance, Tomar said, "Nobody has met me. Ask those who are talking about alliance."
