Nuapada, Nov 8: The leopard terror in Nuapada district comes to an end as the predator has been shifted to a zoo in Sambalpur. The leopard had created a menace by slaying a seven year old boy and thereafter killing a cow and a woman.
The feline is now quarantined in the rescue centre. It would be monitored by a veterinary team under CCTV surveillance for the next 24 hours.
After predating on the boy and woman, the forest department captured the leopard by transquilising it.
According to information, the health condition of the leopard is stable now.
