Rourkela, Nov 13: Members of a family were miraculously saved as a two-storey was engulfed in a fire mishap, house no- A-315 allegedly caught fire by a diya in Koel Nagar in Rourkela under Sundargarh district this morning.

The person whose house reduced to ashes in fire is identified as Prabhasini Swain. 
According to reports, Prabhasini was offering prayer to God in morning at around 9:45 am, when the mishap took place.

The diya she has used to perform puja was misfortunately attached to a paper box for which the entire mishap occured. 

On being informed, two fire brigades have arrived at the scene and controlled the fire. 

Further it is worth mentioning that, all the furniture, assets worth lakhs of the house was gutted in the fire.
