Bhubaneswar, Apr 22:In a brief respite from the scorching heat, rainfall has been recorded in 34 cities across Odisha on Sunday. The highest 34 millimetre has been recorded in Bargarh district.
In the next 24 hours, severe heat waves to continue in coastal and northern Odisha. A few places of central Odisha to also face the raging sun.
On Monday, some places of Northern and Southern Odisha may experience precipitation.

✨As per IMD forecasts, rainfall activities will stop from Tuesday but may drizzle in one or two places in Northern and Southern Odisha.
Severe heat wave conditions likely to return from April 25. The mercury may go high by 2 to 3 degree Celsius. The dry and humid conditions to prevail in Odisha with the rise of temperature.
The day temperature will fall by 2 to 3 degrees due to the Nor'wester but it would not be able to provide much relief as the temperature would still remain around 40 degrees Celsius.
