Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: Hundreds of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Congress workers joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here in Odisha on Tuesday in the presence of Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and State BJP president Manmohan Samal.
The workers from the BJD and Congress from undivided Dhenkanal and Angul districts came here to join the BJP at the 'Misrana Parba' held at the headquarters of the party's state unit.
Union Minister Pradhan welcomed the new entrants into the saffron party at the event and thanked them for joining the BJP by relying on the guarantee and leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Today's 'Misrana Parba' will strengthen the party organization at the booth level in Odisha including Angul and Dhenkanal, Pradhan said.
