Bhubaneswar, Nov 16: The Jan Akrosh Andolon, which is being held at block level by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), entered third on Thursday.

"The practice of PC (percentage) taking is rampant in Odisha. Beneficiaries are being asked to pay Rs 3,000 for a latrine and Rs 10,000 per government house. While the Narendra Modi government is providing huge funds under different schemes, the Naveen Patnaik is diverting the funds to run its own schemes," alleged a BJP leader at Guma block.
Party's senior leader and former MLA Rabinarayan Naik criticized the Naveen Patnaik government for failing to create basic facilities during the last 24 years. "Beneficiaries having less than 4 decimal of land are not getting government houses. There are 132 such families in villages under the Jamankira block. They have been deprived of government support due to the corruption practice of the Odisha government," alleged Naik.
He too demanded district status for Kuchina.
Leading the Jan Akrosh rally at Dhamnagar, BJP State president Manmohan Samal said a scam of Rs 1 lakh crore is being committed by the Odisha government every year.
