Bhubaneswar, Apr 30: Odisha continued to boil under intense heatwave and will continue over many parts of the state for next two days.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued red alert for nine districts as heatwave intensifies in Odisha.
Red warning has been issued for districts including Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Cuttack, Nayagarh and Bhadrak. Similarly, orange warning has been issued for 18 districts.

✨As many as four cities in Odisha witnessed maximum temperature of more than 44 degree Celsius on Monday. Baripada was the hottest place in the State with maximum temperature of 44.8 degree Celsius.
While 28 cities recorded temperatures above 41 degrees Celsius.
